IMPORTANT INFORMATION

While the municipal building is closed, police related matters that are normally handled as walk in reports will be taken over the phone. Call the police department number 732-446-4300 advise the tele communicator your situation and your call will be screened for appropriate action by an officer. You will not be allowed in the building UNLESS it is an emergency and requires your situation to gain access to the building. Please click the link in the upper right corner of this page to access our online reporting forms. Non emergent issues such as fingerprinting will not be processed while the building is closed. Records will be closed and can be reached most efficiently by email at policerecords@manalapanpolice.org. Records phone numbers are 732-446-8375 or 732-446-8376 respectively.

Motor vehicle reports can be obtained online via the website crashdocs.org and you will need your ENTIRE case number (example 20MN00000). Firearms permits will be accepted online only at www.njportal.com/njsp/FARS. During the time the building is closed, permits will be processed and held until such time as they can be picked up and paid for.

Please review the Essenential Business List. Every business or entity that remains open must comply with the requirements of EO 107 and all Administrative Orders.

Youth Academy

The Manalapan Police Youth Academy provides an opportunity for teenagers to engage in their interests in law enforcement through police academy style training, instructional classes, physical fitness and drill.

Anyone interested in participating is required to complete a pre-application and either mail it to Manalapan Police headquarters or email to kearley@manalapanpolice.org no later than June 1st, 2022
